smile

2018

This Poster Diptych is a self portrait that takes a look at my insecurities and fear about the future.

They play with the perceptions of how other's see me, and what goes on behind the mask of my face... or something existential like that.

Another Raney Day

2018 // onwards

This Poster Series is, simply put, the product of creative guilt. During the Summer of 2018, I had so many plans and ideas for design and photography projects I wanted to work on, but as I got wrapped up in what ended up being 6 part time jobs, (by the time the summer was over) I found it extremely difficult to find the creative energy I needed. Finally, I forced myself to just make something... and this first poster happened. I decided to turn it into a series based on the idea of only being able to make something every "whenever." While I strive for consistency in my creative life, sometimes that isn't always feasible and I need to be okay with smaller bursts of creating, and maybe that only happens on rainy days. Ultimately, these are just playful designs that don't have to be about anything other than a need to make, and experiment.
